Description
Monkey Shoulder is a blended malt Scotch whisky, a blend of three Speyside single malts: Glenfiddich, Balvenie, and Kininvie. It is named after a temporary injury suffered by maltmen who traditionally turned barley by hand. The 'Batch 27' designation refers to the original recipe composed of 27 casks, and it is matured in first-fill American oak or ex-Bourbon casks for extra sweetness. It is known for its smooth, rich, and approachable flavor profile, making it suitable for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails.
