- Nose
- Thick notes of chocolate-coated dates and stewed plums, with hints of tobacco leaf, nutty notes, chocolate milk, malt, strawberries, red wine vinegar, and jammy berries. There's also a metallic meatiness, rich butter, black pepper, leather, pecan, brown sugar, old tobacco scented wood, cedar, and sandalwood.
- Palate
- Big Sherried spice notes with clove and black pepper, chocolatey and rich in dried fruit. Fresh fruity taste with red and green apples, oak, honey, powdered donuts, licorice, strawberry smarties, white wine, fruit syrup, raspberry and currant jam. Also brown sugar, pecan nuttiness, and a wonderful meatiness with black pepper and snuffed candle smoke.
- Finish
- Lingering heat with dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream, Granny Smith apples, strawberry cream soda. Medium to long and slightly drying with pepper, leather, and a kiss of currants.
