Description

This Mortlach 1994 25 Year Old is part of the Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range from independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2020, it was matured for 25 years in a first-fill sherry butt. The Connoisseurs Choice range, launched in the 1960s, was an early initiative by Gordon & MacPhail to offer single malts when most were used in blends. This particular release yielded 606 bottles from cask #8181. [cite: Scotch Whisky Auctions, 2, 3, 7, 10, 12, 14]
