Nose
Really intense deep sherry. Old leather jacket, pipe tobacco, sundried grapes and figs, earthy soil. Chicory/coffee mix, plasticine, a little sulfur, loads of dates, sour cherries & Extravecchio Balsamic.
Palate
Heavy, meaty, coffee, tobacco, maggi sauce and a slight metallic twang. It's very cask driven.
Finish
Lingers forever, coffee, dark chocolate, citrus peel, walnut & return of balsamic like notes and that dunnage/old basement edge to the oak.
