The contrast is what makes this appealing to me: delicate flowers and bright fruit on the nose give way to a creamy, sweet palate with a proper peppery spice. The soft smoky trace and the dry, liquorice-edged finish keep it from reading as simply sweet. It sounds layered without leaning on one loud flavour, though the dry finish may be less inviting if you prefer a softer close.
