It was introduced to the company's portfolio under the ownership of Bruichladdich Distillery Company and retained its place following a redesign of the range by new owners, Aceo, in 2015. This release, Coastal Embrace, is a blend of 1995 vintage single malts from Highland Park, Laphroaig, Bunnahabhain, and Speyside malts, matured for 28 years.
