Description
Nagahama 2017 French Oak Quarter Cask is a single malt Japanese whisky produced by Nagahama Distillery, Japan's smallest distillery located in Shiga Prefecture. Distilled in 2017, this peated whisky was aged in a French oak quarter cask that previously held wine and bottled in 2022. It is part of a limited release of 161 bottles, exclusively allocated for the French market. The barley used for distillation is grown in England. Master blender Takashi Kiyoi and distiller Yusuke Yahisa are credited with its creation.
