Description

Nantou Distillery, located in Taiwan, produces Omar Single Malt Whisky. The distillery began producing malt whisky spirit in 2009, with inaugural releases in 2013 and 2014. Omar whiskies are known for being non-chill filtered and without caramel colouring, presenting a natural golden color and expressing cask and terroir influence. This particular bottling is a 6-year-old single malt, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2021, independently bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) as their 138.13 release.
