Description

Small batch wheated straight bourbon whiskey produced by Neeley Family Distillery in Sparta, Kentucky. It is a vatting of 34 barrels, with a mash bill of 68% corn, 19% wheat, and 13% malted barley. The whiskey undergoes open-top sweet mash fermentation in cypress vats for 5 days using the family's proprietary jug yeast and is triple copper pot distilled. It is aged 5 years in 25-gallon American oak barrels with a #2 char from Kelvin Cooperage that were air seasoned for 2 years. This expression is non-chill filtered and bottled at 47% ABV.
