Description

The Nikka Whisky company was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, often called the 'grandfather' of Japanese whisky. Miyagikyo, Nikka's second distillery established in 1969 near Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, is known for producing elegant and fruity single malts. This 15-year-old expression is characterized by a deep, mature sweetness and richness, with a soft and smooth palate, revealing the beautiful influence of oak and sherry.
