Description

Nikka 35 Year Old 70th Anniversary is an exceptionally rare Japanese pure malt whisky released in 2004 to commemorate Nikka's 70th anniversary. Only around 500 bottles were produced. This long-matured expression blends aged whiskies from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries and is presented in a wooden case with a certificate of authenticity.

Palate
Velvety and complex, balancing sweet dried fruits, dark honey, leather and gentle oak spices with a whisper of smoke. Flavors of mango, guava, passion fruit, bergamot, strawberries, light rum, old cognac, exotic oak spices (cinnamon, soft pepper, cardamom), and a hint of citrus green tea.
Finish
Long, warm and layered, featuring lingering dried fruit and spice notes. Medium long and light, with fresh fruity green tea and mint.
