Very deep woodiness, with a briny coastal note, lots of vanilla, runny honey, and light smokiness. Also notes of peach, apricot, polished oak, stewed pear, sugared cherry, strawberry, cinnamon, menthol, oats, mint chocolate, and dunnage.
Palate
Medium-bodied with an explosion of flavors, rich and smooth. Notes of peat, medicinal iodine, oyster shells, kombu seaweed, herbaceousness, honeyed sweetness, sugared pineapples, vanilla cream, leather, cooked plums, figs, prunes, coconut cream, incense, and wood grains.
Finish
Long, with bitter caramel, oakiness, pepper, ash, vegetal herbaceous notes, slight saltiness, smokiness, light hit of honey, acridness, sweet vanilla cream, coconut flakes, sugared pineapples, and a peaty tail.
