A grain whisky distillery located in Edinburgh and co-owned by by both Diageo and the Edrington Group through a joint venture called Lothian Distillers. While most of its stock is detined for blends, some official North British single grain whisky has been bottled over the years. This particular release is a 36-year-old single grain whisky distilled in 1987, independently bottled by Adelphi in 2023 as part of their 30th Anniversary celebration. It was matured in a single refill bourbon barrel and bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.
