Nose
Among supple woody tannins and ancient oak furniture, there's soft toffee pennies, buttered bloomer bread and vanilla buttercream. Hints of tart raspberry and roasted banana ice cream develop.
Palate
In a slightly leathery and lightly spiced palate there's lemon sponge cake, crystallised fruits and faintly sharp green apple. Damp malt, a little heather and white stone fruit emerge after time.
Finish
Dried grass and some minerality linger in a delicate and medium-length finish.
