Nose
Delightfully complex with crushed grapes, orange zest, salt, and smoke. Hints of honey, dried ginger, black pepper, and toasty vanilla pound cake. Light sea spray, gooseberry, white peach, and stone fruit with floral notes and a light coastal peat.
Palate
Soft malts, delicate fruits, and waves of brine. Subtle sweetness, creamy grain, more fruit, drizzles of salted caramel, and peppery spice. Easygoing with honey, orange zest, dried ginger, vanilla, toasted white bread, and a hint of pepper. Fruity and woody with soft dried fruit from the Montilla Fino sherry cask finish.
Finish
A bit sea-salty with honey, orange zest, vanilla, black pepper, a hint of smoke, and dried ginger. Notes of sweetened Jamaican coffee and oak wood. Peppery spice builds with green oak. Medium-length with dark chocolate, dried fruit, and toffee.
