Description

Octomore 07.3 is a 5-year-old Islay single malt whisky distilled by Bruichladdich in 2010, using 100% Islay barley from Lorgba Field on the Octomore Farm. It is exceptionally heavily peated to 169 ppm. The whisky was matured for five years in a combination of American bourbon barrels and Spanish Ribera del Duero wine casks, and bottled in 2015 at 63.0% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and naturally colored. This expression is part of the Octomore x.3 series, known for its terroir-focused approach using local Islay barley.
