Description

A blend of English grain spirit and 8 to 12-year-old imported peated Scotch malt, combined with spring water from the Himalayas. The Scotch malt is matured for eight years in traditional American oak barrels in Scotland, imparting vanilla spiciness, ripe berry overtones, and a smoky finish. The blend is then finished for a few months in Oloroso Sherry barrels in Nepal, adding fruity and honeyed depths.

Nose
Sweet caramel and spice aromas balanced by peaty smokiness, with hints of fresh red berries, hay, and vanilla scented incense.
Palate
Smooth and nutty, intermingled with creamy vanilla and peat-smoke, with a hint of rubber, grain sweetness, mild black pepper spiciness, and a slightly bitter oak note.
Finish
Mellow with layers of sherry and peat, followed by oakiness (fresh woodshop and old grey wooden planks) and a nice fruity bowl of peaches.
