Description

Old Parr Tribute celebrates the legendary life of Thomas Parr who lived to be 152. Famed for his great age, King Charles I requested he be presented at court. So began the long and arduous journey from the native Winnington to London. He was royally entertained and paid the final tribute by royal decree. He was laid to rest amongst Kings in the Westminster Abbey in 1635.
