Description

A Limited Batch release of the Old Perth blended Malt Whisky by Morrison & Mackay. Distilled in 1996 and bottled at 21 years old. This is a very unusual single sherry cask blended malt of famous Speyside and Islay malts, with only 335 bottles made available from a single cask.

Sticky and sweet with toffee, apricot, orange peel, and a hint of smoke. Notes of chocolate digestives, tobacco, honey, green apples, and toasted oak.
Palate
Intense with ginger, oak spice, lemon candy, and wood smoke. Layers of chewy raisin, almond sweetness, black pepper, cloves, and savory notes. Chocolate-dipped cherries, spiced plums, and treacle tart.
Finish
Long, warming, and rich with dried fruit, sherry spice, and mellow oak. Notes of nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon, and dark chocolate. A few wisps of wood smoke linger.
