Description

A northern Highland malt distillery that famously produces the Old Pulteney brand of single malt. Located in Wick, it was built in 1826 and despite being shut down Prohibition in the town in 1930, it operates today as part of the Inver House Distillers group. This 21-year-old expression is matured in hand-selected American ex-bourbon and ex-Fino sherry casks. It was awarded 'World Whisky of the Year' in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2012.
