Description

A northern Highland malt distillery that famously produces the Old Pulteney brand of single malt. Located in Wick, it was built in 1826 and despite being shut down Prohibition in the town in 1930, it operates today as part of the Inver House Distillers group. This Old Pulteney Distillery Exclusive is matured next to the sea in fine French Oak barrels. Distilled and matured next to the sea, this expression has enjoyed a combination of hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon barrels and French oak casks, beautifully elegant and spicy sweetness.
