The Old Thompson brand dates back to 1904 when the owners of Glenmore Distillery Company, James and Francis P. Thompson, rolled out the brand named after themselves. These days it is owned by Sazerac but this bottle of Old Thompson Brand Blended Whiskey Italian Export comes from way before that. The whiskeys inside were aged for 4 years or more before being blended with neutral spirits for export to the Italian market.
