This single malt was came from an orange brandy barrel. Palate
Oily and rich, with explosive fruit juiciness, balanced spice, and layers of berries and smoke. Thick, very orangey, reminiscent of orange drink and orange skittles, with cinnamon, sweetness, and a candy-like quality.
Finish
Lingering candied citrus and syrupy brandy warmth. Extremely long and complex, with notes of cake, vanilla frosting, and a slightly artificial candy flavor. Also described as a long, thick, treacly, jammy finish with spices and oak for balance.
