Description

This is a 14-year-old single malt whisky from an undisclosed Orkney distillery (widely believed to be Highland Park), distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024 by independent bottler Signatory Vintage as part of their 100 Proof Edition series. It was matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon hogsheads, bottled at 57.1% ABV, and is non-chill filtered with no added coloring.

Delicate peat smoke intertwines with spicy aromas, complemented by the sweet scent of dried berries and nuts. Dark berries, sea salt, and a wisp of heathered smoke. Toffee and raisin.
Palate
A harmonious blend of fruity sweetness, honey, and spices, with subtle hints of seaweed and a touch of toffee. Rich sherried fruit, honeyed malt, and subtle peat, with warming oak spice. Perfect lemon honey, pepper liqueur, ras el hanout, fresh turmeric, wasabi and marmalade.
Finish
Long-lasting and warming, with lingering notes of sweetness and a salty undertone. Long, smoky-sweet, with lingering dried fruit and coastal brine. Distinctly spicier with ginger and turmeric, yet with saline touches.
