Berry Bros & Rudd are the oldest wine and spirit merchant in Britain, operating from the same premises in London's St James Street since their founding in 1698. It hasn't all been smooth sailing for the creator of the Cutty Sark brand though. Palate
Smoke and sherry combined with dried fruits, honey, soft spices, salted caramel, nuts, trail mix, sultanas, banana chips, coal dust, green tea, rosehips, malted milk, cured meats, salted peanuts, Turkish delight, maraschino cherry, heather, green apple, and chocolate.
Finish
Good length with a touch of rubber, salted dark chocolate, earthy notes, plum sauce, oak, and heather.
