Description

The Oxford Rye Heritage Grains Red Rye Whisky is the fifth release from The Oxford Artisan Distillery, distilled in 2017. It is crafted from heritage varieties of rye, wheat, and barley, specifically a maslin blend of 70% rye and 20% wheat, and 10% malted barley, all harvested from fields near the distillery. The whisky was matured in a combination of virgin American oak casks, a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt, and Vintage Port barriques, and bottled in November 2021 at 46.4% ABV. This limited edition release consists of 600 bottles and is non-chill filtered.
