Description
This Kentucky Barrel Society private selection is one of only three Pappy Van Winkle 23yr barrel picks ever bottled. All three were selected in 2007. Chosen by a prominent bourbon group at the time, the bottle number doesn't start with a normal letter prefix like a standard Pappy 23. Instead, this one begins with a unique "KBS1" prefix to designate the group that selected it. This is an extremely rare, limited-edition bourbon, aged for over two decades in hand-selected oak barrels, representing the pinnacle of American whiskey craftsmanship. It was distilled at Stitzel-Weller and bottled by Old Rip Van Winkle / Buffalo Trace.
