Description

Penderyn Aur Cymru, meaning "Welsh Gold," is a single malt Welsh whisky produced by Penderyn Distillery, Wales' only single malt whisky producer, located in the Brecon Beacons. It is distilled using a unique Faraday still and is first aged in American oak bourbon barrels before being finished in Madeira casks, contributing to its distinctive and complex flavor profile. Aur Cymru is a flagship expression of the distillery and is bottled without chill-filtration at 46% ABV.
