Description

A Welsh whisky distillery that revived the nation's distilling heritage when it first opened in 2000, the first in Wales for over a hundred years. It was commissioned by The Welsh Whisky Company and makes use of a unique and specially designed Faraday still to produce its whisky. This 12th release in the Icons of Wales series, named Copperopolis, pays homage to Swansea's history as a global center for copper smelting, and Penderyn's new distillery in the historic Copperworks building.
