- Aromas of dark fruit and rich toffee mingle with green apples and hazelnuts. Sherry, cocoa, malt, dark fruit, citrus peels and some baking spice. Faint raisins, plums, honey, apples, sugar sweetness.
- Palate
- Rich sweetness gives way to refreshing dryness. Sherry, malt, cocoa, spice, oil, chalk, dark fruit and some woody notes and olde candy. Thin mouthfeel, weak sherry cask flavors, raisins, distant dark fruits, ginger spice, mustiness, forest floor, woodsy qualities.
- Finish
- Sweet notes of toffee and sultana persist in the long finish. Short -> Spice, fruit, sherry, malt and cocoa. Medium-short, dark chocolate, ginger, light plum and caramel sweetness.
