Description
Poit Dhubh (pronounced Potch Ghoo) is the Gaelic term for an illicit still, traditionally renowned for producing the finest whiskies. This 8 year old blended malt whisky is medium sweet and rich, with a good aromatic backbone of peatiness. It is unchillfiltered, imparting a softness to the spirit and a fullness to the flavour. It may appear hazy if chilled. The Gaelic Whiskies, Pràban na Linne Ltd, an Independent Hebridean company based on the Isle of Skye, produces it.
