Nose
On the nose there are notes of butterscotch and toasted caramel, accompanied by treacle toffee and cinnamon apple crumble. Decadent, layered and well-developed, this whisky's rich and complex aroma is worth savouring before your first sip.
Palate
In the mouth, we immediately get notes of hazelnut chocolate and rum raisin. The palate then opens up, coating the mouth with ripe, dark plums, soft spices and rich toffee, with incredible richness and balance.
Finish
Once again exhibiting a complexity and character well beyond its years, this whisky goes on and on, with a line-up of constantly evolving spice, sap, dry nuttiness and sweet heat.
