Nose
A beautiful combination of marine flora & fauna encapsulated in a halo of peat smoke & charred oak. Sweet cereal notes, hints of green apple & pear, with a riverbank bouquet of primrose, buttercup and lily. Also maritime, creamy, and herbal with dried beach grass, sand, slate-colored seas, salty tanned leather, iodine, beach dunes, café au lait and malty vanilla and chocolate.
Palate
Rich and viscous, full-bodied and coastal with malt, creamy butter, fruit, and grass notes. Salty minerality, leather, heather, dried beach grass, engine grease and shrimp. Memories of an overcast beach breakfast; creamy yogurt and berries, coffee or café au lait, and creamy vanilla-chocolate malt. A fruitier, smoky cereal route with drifts of heather in bloom and a hint of sweet spiciness from the bourbon residue.
Finish
Lingering notes of shoreline minerals, heather, and salted butter. The balance between alcohol fruitiness, oak and smoke is pure magic.
