Description

Port Ellen is a closed Islay distillery, which operated for over 150 years before its closure in 1983, and was later reopened in 2024. This 27-year-old single malt was distilled in 1983 and bottled in 2010 as part of the Mo'or Collection, an independent bottling series by The Whisky Talker. It is a single cask release, with one variant (cask #627) yielding 164 bottles. Port Ellen whiskies are known for their peated, coastal character.
