Nose
Salty sea air, maritime notes, peat and smoke, with hints of lemon, apple, vanilla, spices, and honey. Some sherried fruitiness.
Palate
Initially light, developing into sweeter notes with pepper, apples, and almond. Oily texture with dry bonfire ashes, phenol, iodine, seaweed, and salt. Soft smoke.
Finish
Long, assertive, and peppery, with sweet peat and smoke. Reminiscent of "Arbroath Smokies" with soft chewed leather, tar, and creosote.
