A bottle of Powers 12 Year Old Gold Label Special Reserve Irish whiskey, distilled and bottled in bond by John Power & Son. This is a special premium edition of Powers Gold Label, a blended Irish whiskey produced by Irish Distillers at their Midleton distillery in County Cork. It is a blend of whiskeys aged from 12 to 24 years, primarily matured in ex-bourbon casks with some time in ex-sherry casks. It is known for its strong pot still presence and rich, full-flavored, and spicy character.
