Description

A malt distillery in the Highland region of Scotland and part of the Scotch whisky holdings of Diageo. The current distillery was built in 1967 and despite its long associations to the Johnnie Walker blends, it has one of the oldest single malt brands as well. A historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by United Distillers and then Diageo.

Fruit, sweet, perfumy, white wine, light fruit notes (banana), acrid and fruity.
Palate
Hot with some mildew, fruity, sweet, big and tangy citrus and banana. Oily mouthfeel with eucalyptus and salt.
Finish
Dry with lip numbing heat, a bit rubbery with lots of black licorice.
