Redacted Speyside 24 Year Old, American Oak Cask, 1995, Thompson Bros, 46.9%

After establishing one of the World's leading whisky bars in Dornoch, Phil and Simon Thompson - better known as the Thompson Brothers - decided to take it a step further and start making their own whisky and gin on the site at the Dornoch Castle Hotel. Born from successful crowdfunding and a worldwide love of whisky, Dornoch's first whisky distillery was formed. While waiting for the whisky to mature, they also bottle whiskies from other distilleries. This is a single cask whisky from an unnamed Speyside distillery, matured in a refill American oak barrel for 24 years and bottled in January 2020. This cask produced only 310 bottles.
