Description

The Robin Redbreast is the only bird which sings continuously throughout the dark Irish winters and is one of the very few small birds that choose to winter in Ireland. It is this enduring spirit which inspired its namesake, Redbreast Irish Whiskey. This cask was exclusively hand selected by our Master Blender, Billy Leighton. Laid down to mature in the Midleton Distillery, this cask represents a unique and singular nuanced expression of Redbreast. This Redbreast All Sherry Single Cask is a joy to behold in each and every bottle.

Nose
The initial hints of sweet dried fruits, raisins and dates combine to evolve into a rich aroma of toasted nuts, marzipan and vanilla with mild spicy hazelnut undertones.
Palate
The silky smooth palate delivers a complex array of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and a subtle hint of liquorice, beautifully balanced with hints of coffee and bitter chocolate.
Finish
The finish is long and lingering, with the sherry influence from the cask to linger until the end.
