Description
A powerhouse Irish whiskey distillery located in the town after which it is named in Co. Cork. It was built in 1975 by Irish Distillers in order to centralise production of its brand portfolio and today is home to names like Jameson, Redbreast and Method & Madness. This special whiskey was distilled and laid down in the Midleton Distillery in March, 2001. In creating this edition of Redbreast Single Cask for The Celtic Whiskey Shop, the contents of Cask Number 17126 had been maturing uninterrupted for 14 years in Warehouse No. M15A. The cask was hand selected exclusively for The Celtic Whiskey Shop by Master Blender Billy Leighton.
