Description

A single cask Redbreast 18 Year Old, originally bottled as an exclusive for Harvey Nichols. Drawn from an oloroso sherry butt (cask 30837) filled in 2003 and bottled at a hearty 60.2%, this is a Christmas feast of a whiskey. Only 558 bottles were produced, packed with rich fruit, sherried warmth and classic single pot still depth.

caramelised tarte tatin, cherry chocolate liqueurs, marzipan-covered Christmas cake, orange zest, juicy red apples, vanilla, fresh herbs, mulled wine spices and toasted oak.
Palate
Full-bodied and rounded, with oak tannins complementing decadent sweetness of sun-kissed grapes and autumnal fruits. Vibrant spices of freshly peeled ginger and hints of liquorice weave amongst wine-seasoned oak influences of dried fruits, dark berries and orange peel.
Finish
Rich and lasting. Pot still spices, fruit and oak slowly fade harmoniously, with dark fruit notes lingering alongside hints of marzipan and warming oaken spice.
