Nose: Fino-ish profile, with old nuts, bitter chocolate, tapioca, curry powder, cigars and leather, indicating an ultra-dry ex-sherry influence.
Palate: Rich, creamy, and hyper-sherried, featuring bitter oranges, walnuts, figs, sultanas, dates, cinnamon, and a hint of mustard.
Finish: Very long and rather tannic, with strong tea, peppercorns, and a cabernety quality.

The notes suggest a sharp shift: a dry, nutty nose, then a rich, fruit-laden palate. The very long, tannic finish sounds like a lot to carry.
