Nose
Fruit-forward with green apple, peach, melon, kiwi, and lychee, alongside maltier, slightly dustier notes of hazelnut, coconut, milk chocolate, floral honeysuckle, vanilla, icing sugar, and fresh bourbon oak. Minty notes and nectarines are also present.
Palate
Opens with sugary sweetness, confectioners sugar, tablet, sour apple candies, and peach rings. Develops into malty chocolate digestive biscuits, caramel logs, Tunnock's tea cakes, waffle cones, lemon and lime squash, sweet pears, honeyed notes, vanilla cake, and a creamy texture. Also features banana, mango, and a punchy oak spice with ginger and pepper.
Finish
Medium to long, with flavors of flamed orange peel, warm butterscotch, milky coffee, sweet fruits, fresh oak, aniseed, and a nutty touch. Features a spirity warmth, malty backbone, vanilla, apples, pastries, sugary watermelon, soft tannins, and a hint of estery rum funk, ending richly sweet and lightly spicy with a controlled peppery warmth and soft lingering vanilla.
