Description

Rosemaund whisky comes from the Chase Distillery in Herefordshire, who have previous released vodkas and gins. This latest whisky endeavour aims to produce quality English whisky. An early backer of the whisky, and creative collaborator, is none other than film director Guy Ritchie. 47% ABV / 70cl Bottle Number: 878 / 2700. The Rosemaund Farm Distillery is the revived project of the Chase family, who bought back the distillery and existing whisky stock after its sale to Diageo. This 10-year-old single malt is crafted from Maris Otter barley and matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.

Palate
Sophisticated balance of dried fruit, mature tobacco spice, ginger, black pepper, orange zest and a subtle malty sweetness - grippy, poised and beautifully structured.
Finish
Both long and characterful, revealing hints reminiscent of a dry Manhattan cocktail.
