Nose
Malty, roasted grain, and freshly baked bread, with floral notes of heather and meadow flowers. Hints of lemon zest, vanilla, and burnt toast mingle with salted caramel, toffee apple, and browning pear.
Palate
Oily and smooth with a buttery creaminess, featuring ginger, malty sweetness, and candied pear. Notes of honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, black pepper, red apples, and fresh oak, alongside toasted oak and caramel drizzle.
Finish
A warming ginger note persists, with a medium-long, slightly herbal character. Sweet lemon and pear return, balanced by a touch of acidity and barrel char.
