Description
A Highland malt whisky distillery, built in 1817 and the first in Scotland to be granted a Royal Warrant at the behest of King William IV in 1835. It is today part of the Bacardi Limited Scotch whisky holdings via John Dewar & Sons and its brand marketed as part of the Last Great Malts collection. This Royal Brackla 24 Year Old is part of the Exceptional Cask Series, distilled in October 1999 and initially matured in a refill hogshead before being re-casked into a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt in 2014. It was then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This limited edition release offers a complex and multi-layered profile.
