Description

A Highland malt whisky distillery, built in 1817 and the first in Scotland to be granted a Royal Warrant at the behest of King William IV in 1835. It is today part of the Bacardi Limited Scotch whisky holdings via John Dewar & Sons and its brand marketed as part of the Last Great Malts collection.

Creamy with caramel, fruit, citrus, and dark chocolate, alongside poached pears, plums, ripe peaches, and a spirited, effervescent quality with notes of dried cranberry, apples, lemon cordial, and subtle spice.
Finish
Smooth and drawn out, with whispers of smoked oak, candied apricots, zesty lemons, coriander seed, yellow fruits, waxy grapefruit pith, digestive biscuits, and bitter almond.
