Floral citrus blossom and heather give this a clearly lifted opening, while melted butter and marzipan add a softer, rounded counterpoint. The palate’s clove and cardamom heat is joined by a refreshing hint of orange, so the spice does not read as one-note. Maple syrup, sandalwood and dark chocolate bring a deeper finish. That shift from aromatic brightness to richer closing notes is appealingly well-defined.
