Description
Blended by Chivas Brothers, Royal Salute was launched on the 2nd June 1953 in tribute to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. This limited edition Royal Salute pays homage to Kew Palace in London and is part of the annually released Flask Collection. This 28-year-old blended whisky is floral and aromatic on the nose, with a silky palate that combines classic Royal Salute style with rich fruits, designed to reflect the qualities found in Kew Palace's kitchen gardens. The expression combines the knowledge of Master Blender Sandy Hyslop with the olfactory expertise of Barnabé Fillion. The ceramic flagon features an illustration of Kew Palace by Jason Brooks, and the set also comes with a ceramic hip flask. This edition is part of Royal Salute's support of the Historic Royal Palaces charity.
