Description

Blended by Chivas Brothers, Royal Salute was launched on the 2nd June 1953 in tribute to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Named after the traditional 21 gun salute, this rich, classy blend is aged for a minimum of 21 years and is bottled in a range of Wade porcelain decanters. In keeping with the royal connection, Royal Salute supports polo tournaments across the world. This 'Trajan Jia Edition' is a Lunar New Year Special Edition, featuring illustrations by renowned Chinese artist Trajan Jia, designed to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Palate
The warmth of orange marmalade and fresh pears is followed by an explosion of spices and hazelnut. Rich, full, deep fruity flavours with a subtle smokiness.
